Visiting Silverdale this summer? Head over to the Kitsap County and experience a beloved tradition and the county's largest free event this summer—the Kitsap County Fair & Stampede. The fair has been ongoing for over 60 years, serving as a staple summer event for the community.
From August 21-25, the annual Kitsap County Fair and Stampede is back, and it's not just for cowboys and cowgirls. The event-filled week features activities for the whole family, those who've attended for years, and strangers to the rodeo scene.
The fair includes a rodeo, live music performances, bull shows, and a pavilion of vendors. Headlining the evening concert series is country artist Craig Morgan, a multi-faceted musician, and veteran of the US Army. Also taking the stage serving country tunes are performers John Wesley Satterfield, John Gurney, Stevie Monce, and David Borné.
Get pet-friendly at the carnival with the daily Animals and Livestock shows and the Pet-Me-Barn where visitors can pet a chick, bunny, and miniature donkeys. Families and kids can get their face painted, enjoy arts & crafts, and of course get a thrill from the rides.
To get a load of rodeo, check out the numerous rodeo events happening each night of the fair. From Wednesday to Friday, see the PRCA pro rodeo in action and experience world-class rodeo action. Each night is an entertainment-filled evening where riders participate in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, and bull riding. On Saturday, kick it up a notch and attend the Xtreme Bulls Rodeo show. PRCA's top bull riders and strongest bulls compete for a $10,000 grand prize.
Newly announced is FREE admission to the fair. Mark your calendars and book your stay at the Best Western Silverdale Beach Hotel—only a six-minute drive from fairgrounds. Its convenient location, luxurious rooms, and quality service can't be beaten.
